'Grasias — the Good Collapse' is an installation commissioned by Fundación Telefónica. Rather than portraying the end of society in its usual grimness, it is an open invitation to reconsider the end under a positive, socially-conscious light. Here, it takes the form of a fictional pavilion showcasing the efforts undertaken by the equally fictional nation of Pyria to muster all of its economic, agricultural, and industrial strength in an attempt to shut itself down by design.

The following is a succinct documentation of the public exhibition which took place at Espacio Fundación Telefónica, in Madrid, between November 2021 and April 2022. For more information about the project, see our digital catalogue.
